Hi Guys, Here I am going to discuss about miter saw cleaning ways .

Your miter saw is a very important tool . In your work without your miter saw , you can not complete  your work . So , It is very important and very essential to keep it always neat and clean. For this you need to clean off all the dust off the saw  every time when your work has finished. The sawdust has sap in it from the tree and overtime the sap will bleed out and make the sawdust to stick to your saw and if you leave it on there for quite sometime, you are going to have a hard time getting that sawdust off your saw, it is going to leave just a gluey film on your saw. So if nothing else you need to get a rag every time you use it and wipe it off .

The following things you can use for cleaning  your miter saw very nicely and quickly :

  1 .  I like to use a compressor for clean it . For this , I like to get a compressor with an air nozzle and blow all the dust from  the saw very quickly.

  2 . Sometimes we have to go for a vac. Then we become very busy  and we forget about our best tool miter saw . So , we do not clean our miter saw .But in this kind of times  the compressor will be very helpful . You will be able to clean your sawdust within few minutes. Just start the compressor and blow it all over the saw and it will be out of dust . Now you become free your sawdust. Then the compressor is become your best friend .

However I think you can do it very nicely and you should try to get as much dust off of the saw as possible. Besides , when you are carring your saw blade and cutting anythings with your saw all the time your saw become dustfull with materials sap coming out of the materials .Then all the dust can be stick your blade especially on the backside of the blade teeth and thus saw blade will be unable to cut anythings cleanly. For this I always like to get a rag with mineral spirits or paint thinner something along those lines . And I will soak the rag and wipe each individual tooth all over the saw blade and that will cut that sap off the saw blade.If you are able to do this very nicely , you will be able to start a nice and new cleaning cut again .

Besides I also use a lubricate on my saw . . There are many ways to lubricate you miter saw . They are bellow :

·         Spray off  the entire compound of miter saw with a can of air compressed . Now hold the air can 6 inches from the surfec of the miter saw and move back and forth . Then move the air can closer of compound and get into the crevices of the saw . Now it become clean .Then apply a small amount of spray lubricant into the saw blade  and spread it all over the blade by hand. Let soak it and wipe off any excess with a clean rag.

·         Powdered lubricant can be use for this things .Powdered lubricant is difference with graphite . For this dust will not attract in the saw.

The best  between those lubricant is Powdered lubricant . Because powdered lubricant will never attract dust . But spray lubricant can be attract withdust . So , I like to use powdered lubricant. And tell everybody to use powdered lubricant. In this way you can make clean your saw for long time.
